Hi, I’m Rebecca! Thanks for stopping by to read my little space online. Get cosy and have a read! I share a bit of all sorts really but mainly my life, recipes I love, home décor and you can’t escape from my love of travel.

Why I blog

I started blogging quite a few years back as a way to let family and friends know what we were up to, as I moved away from quite a few of them in 2009 (I’m a northerner in the south)! I had no idea there there was this side of the blogging world until I stumbled across a Twitter chat for lifestyle bloggers. I feel so lucky to be able to make a little job out of something that I find such fun and that allows me to be at home with my two children (Max, 5 & Chloe, 3).

About Me

I’m 30 and live in Surrey. I graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and Physiology and worked in that sector for 5 years, before leaving it behind to start a family. I still have instructing qualifications like spin and circuit training and one day, I’d love to get back into teaching a few classes here and there. Aside from family and blogging, I work as a copywriter and do some social media management. Life is rather busy!

I am a PCOS warrior and am on a bit of a mission to combat the symptoms and be healthier. I am one of those annoying food label readers as I follow quite a stick paleo diet. I ‘quit’ refined sugar a few weeks ago and haven’t looked back.

I also enjoy good food, movies (rather Netflix obsessed I must admit), running (when it isn’t raining) and yoga. You can read more about me in an interview I did for Precious Little One. I hope you enjoy reading my blog!

Just an extra note – I have a VA that will occasionally post on social media on on the blog for me – all opinions will be my own, though, and I get the final say on any posts.

You’ll find that the top atmosphere before 10pm is within Irish
and Sports bars. Sometimes local stores and eateries close
on an hour or so during hot afternoons. A few blocks
southwest look for the Plaza Mayor (following a arches that lead to Calle Mayor).
