Buying and selling our homes is a big thing and for a lot of people, can be such a focus in their life. Even if they don’t have particular plans to sell, I think we like to make sure that we are getting our money’s worth; we don’t want to think that we are losing money on our investment of owning a home.
So what are some of the ways that we can improve the value of our homes? Somethings we think will add value and they don’t necessarily. Like our garden for example. It needs some work doing but it doesn’t necessarily add value to the home. It can add the ‘curb appeal’ and make the final decision for a buyer. Something like a conservatory or a lot conversion can add a significant amount, though. Take a look at this infographic here:
