Bathroom Inspiration

When we moved into our home 5 years ago, we completely renovated the whole house. The bathroom and kitchen were some of the first to get redecorated. I’m getting to the point now where I’m thinking about making a few changes so have been looking for some inspiration. I’m not going to lie, our bathroom is pretty small, so I’ve also been looking at realistic options for us, as we certainly don’t have a showroom-sized bathroom.

Freestanding Bath

I love, love, love, freestanding baths. When you have children a bath is a must. I find freestanding ones are a bit smaller than average sized baths so they can make smaller bathrooms look bigger, as they don’t take up the whole wall space. Here are a few that I have been looking at – I definitely prefer the more modern versions:

Walk-In Showers

Ok, so this is a bit more if a far off dream, if we were to ever have an en-suite. I love the idea of a wet room or a walk-in shower but for us, it wouldn;t really work in the size of our current bathroom (plus, I don’t think they are ideal in a family bathroom whilst the children are small). I think they just look so stylish and really modern (can you see a trend here)? 😉

I love this one:

Accessories

It isn’t quite a bathroom without a few finishing touches. I love cute storage baskets and soap dispensers. And of course you need a bathroom mirror – one with background lighting would be perfect.
