We recently got a joint National Trust membership which is perfect with two little ones to go out and visit lots of different places – under 5’s are free, wahoo! So, this past weekend, using our membership, we took a little trip to Wakehurst Place in Sussex for a little bit of autumnal family time.
I haven’t made an Autumn bucket list but if I had, it would have included visitng a pumpkin patch. We totally happened upon it by accident too so it was totally perfect and Max loved seeing all of the different colours and varities of ‘pun-kin’. I’ve only ever been to a pumpkin patch before in the US, so it was fun to find one.
As well as feeding chasing the ducks, running through the crunchy leaves and taking a really long walk (that was kind of by accident too), we had a lovely morning.
All we needed was to come home to some hot chocolate and marshmallows.
Perfect.
