Now that we’re about halfway through the year, which first of all, is crazy, but second of all, it let’s us see some trends that have happened so far this year, and could show us what trends might be coming up for the rest of the year. I am by no means a beauty blogger, but I am a pretty stereotypical girl and love to dabble in makeup and I do follow a certain beauty regime. So there are a few things that I have been noticing. So I’m just sharing some of my favourites today.

Bold Brows
I don’t think that this trend will be leaving the beauty scene anytime soon, but thank goodness for that! I look back at pictures of super thin eyebrows that I had about ten years ago and just cringe – why did I ever think that was a good look?! At least I wasn’t the only one I suppose. But I do love my brow set to fill in my brows each morning. Mine are quite thick and a good shape, they are just a little patchy due to over plucking in previous years. I’d quite like to tint my brows, though, so I don’t have to ‘reapply’ them every morning. There are a few lash and brow tints that the professionals get from somewhere like www.ellisons.co.uk, so I may have to book myself in.
Glossy Lips
Last year seemed to be the year of the matte lip. But I am glad to see the return of the glossy lip (I have always been a fan). Though I do like a bold lipstick look every now and again, glossy lips look so much better for everyday. Plus, I can just use something like Vaseline so it is hydrating for my lips too. Lancôme have some of the best glosses that I have used before.
Dewy Skin
I love the whole dewy skin look. Plus, it is perfect for this time of year. I like it because it looks so much more natural than a ‘caked’ on look. So bronzer and highlighter are a go for the dewy skin look. One of my favourite YouTubers, Sheridan Gregory, did this tutorial a while back and I loved it. The perfect way to get that dewy glowing skin.
Rainbow Colours
If you haven’t seen rainbow or ‘unicorn’ inspo all over the place recently, then were have you been? Mostly, it is for hair, but perhaps you might feel included to go for some bright eyeshadow shares this summer? I love the ‘hidden’ rainbow hair thing that I have seen shared on Facebook – I just don’t know if I am brave enough to try it? And I imagine it is quite hard to keep up with. It looks so funky, though.
