I was tagged so long ago by Mummy M’s Memories to do the Blog Your Heart Out Tag but I’ve finally got around to doing it – here we are:
Who/What encouraged you to start blogging?
I have got friends that have moved and live all over the world, quite a few in America, and I had seen that they had all started blogs. I had a lot of time on my hands one summer in America, so thought I would start one too. It started mainly as a way of keeping in touch with others and posting about what we have been up to. It has grown since and I love it.
How did you choose what to blog about?
Like I have said, it started as a way to keep in touch with others and so was mainly a lifestyle blog with days out, my random thoughts and a few recipes. It became more of a ‘mummy blog’ when I obviously had children. It felt like a natural progression because there is just so much to blog about when you have kids (and it’s cheaper than therapy) haha.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m fairly honest and open about most things. I suppose those that don’t know me too well probably don’t know that I attend church each week; I’m a Mormon. I’m not embarrassed about it, I just don’t bring it up or talk about it all the time.
What three words describe your style?
My blogging style? Most likely to say organised. I like to plan what my posts and know when they’re scheduled. I would like to think my posts are fun and hopefully people will take then on board and think about / use what I posted about. One more word? Honest. I’ll always share my true opinions on a topic or if I am reviewing an item.
What do you love to do when you are not blogging?
Taking care of two little monkeys mostly! What spare time I do have I enjoy baking (cooking less so) but really enjoy decorating cakes, cupcakes and cake pops etc. I’m getting into running again too and also like a good workout DVD too.
