I have been watching what I eat quite meticulously of late, and using the new XLS-Nutrition shakes to help me shift some weight. I am now into week 3 of having the shakes, and things have been going pretty well so far.
Weight Loss
After 3 weeks, I am now 8lbs down in total (just under two pounds loss this week). I can’t tell you how pleased I am to see the scales going down, rather than up, and how much it is helping to motivate me. When it may seem a little monotonous or boring, I know that it is worth it as it is making a difference.
Highlights of the Week
As part of the eating plan, I have a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, with a 500 or 600 calorie meal for my evening meal (and snacks in-between). Exercising has also been recommended as part of the plan, and it is something that I have been doing, but could always do more of! This week, a couple of friends and I went to a local dance class that was taught by the one and only Darcey Bussell – it was so much fun and a really great way to exercise! So I think that has got to be my highlight.
Challenges This Week?
I think the monotony of the same things day in and day out is taking its toll. So if I wasn’t losing weight, I really would be pretty disappointed. I think that is what I found a challenge this week, but seeing the weight loss helps to spur me on. I have made sure that my evening meals are things to look forward to, and that has helped too. So meal planning is definitely important!
More About the Shakes
If you’ve missed my first few posts, you will have missed that the shakes come in three different flavours; vanilla, chocolate, an strawberry. The amazing thing about them, and what makes them different from anything else I have tried before is just how high in protein they are. The are 27g of protein in the chocolate and strawberry, and 31g in the vanilla. To keep you full and to fight the fat, rather than muscle, the plenty of protein is a good idea. So I have been impressed with the shakes so far.
Here is to week four! I have only four left to go after that.
Have you heard of XLS-Nutrition before? It would be great to hear what you think.

I have never heard of that brand. I have had no luck finding out that I love. Most are chalky and do not taste good.
Try searching “XLS Nutrition Shakes” or similar online and some stockists should come up! I agree that not all brands produce lovely tasting drinks like these x
I’m not sure I could manage two shakes a day. How do you do it? Do you miss having a proper lunch or breakfast?
Well done on your weight loss. I think a shake with protein in really helps starve off hunger pangs

Definitely, protein fills you up so much more than a shake without!
How many shakes a day are u meant to drink aday
Up to you, but no more than three. You can have one to replace each meal. I had two a day, and then a normal evening meal
