Through the Key Hole | Chloe’s Room

I have posted about Max’s room before so I thought now would be the time to post about Chloe’s. Bless her, she has got (other than the downstairs loo), the smallest room in the house. It was used as a bit of a junk room before we had her, with my wardrobe in it, a desk, chair and a bookshelf. As well as my sewing machine, the printer etc.

We moved out a lot of those things, though for now the desk and chair are still in there, and moved in the cot and chest of drawers for all of her things. I still need to put some more pictures on the walls I think and make it look a bit cuter.

We decorated the house in that colour several years ago, mainly because we liked it, but I like how it works for a girls room. I didn’t want her to have a super-girly-pink room and I think a lot of other colours compliment the green colour scheme.

  • One of my favourite things in the room is the cute owl bunting that a friend made for me – its just so cute! And the orange colours in it compliment the light green walls perfectly.
  • I made the birth announcement print like I did with Max’s – I just love them, obviously 😉
  • The quilt in the cot was made by a family friend and my mum gave it to us, the first thing we had when we knew we were having a girl.

What are your favourite things in your little ones room?
