Alternative Christmas Jumpers at Joanie Clothing

The temperatures are dropping, the winter boots, scarves, and coats are coming out, and the shops are filling up with all winter attire. But the pièce de résistance has to be the range of Christmas jumpers that are out on display. So many fun and quirky designs; they really do make me smile. But for me, call me tight, but I prefer something that I will wear more than a couple of times a year. So for me, I definitely opt for something that isn’t specifically festive, but will still work for that time of year. I’m all about getting more wear out of something (price per wear and all of that).

Can you relate? Are you the same? If so, then there are some really fun alternative Christmas jumpers over at Joanie Clothing. If you know me, then you’ll know how much I love Joanie; the style of clothing is just so unique and a little different, and everything I have had from there has always fitted so well, definitely to size. The quality is fab too. Here are some of their jumpers that are out at the moment if you are looking for something a little different. Which is your favourite?

Bobby Dazzler – £45 // Make Believe – £38 // Golden Girl – £40 // Emerald City – £45 // Cable Knit – £40 //Embroidered Frill Neck – £45 // Great Expectations – £35 // Woodland Fair Isle – £45 // Metallic Stripe – £40

I did have one overall favourite, though, the Emerald City Jumper. I love green, and for this time of year it is really festive. Not to mention the Wizard of Oz connection; what is not to love? I thought it would feel quite scratchy, as it is a knit with sparkly thread and a few that hang from the top adding texture. But it is really soft, especially the inner layer of it. The quality is great and I’m confident that it will keep for a while. It has washed well too, which for me, is always a winning combination.

Styling it with a black pleat skirt, tights, and boots makes for an everyday look, but it will look good with jeans or a pencil skirt and heels for something more dressy. How would you style it?

Have you got a Christmas jumper ready for the festive season? It would be great to hear what you think.
