Diet Chef | Week 2

Another week has flown by and so ends my second week doing the Diet Chef diet.

After stepping on the scales this morning, I can confirm I have lost 3lbs this week (12lbs total, in two weeks).

I am totally into the swing of things now and finding it much easier than the first week. I think this is because I am use to the amount I should be eating now and in more of a routine for when I have my meals and snack. It is definitely helping my hydration levels because I think I am drinking more water than I ever have, which can only be a good thing.

I am loving that this diet doesn’t really feel like a diet, if that makes sense. I don’t feel restricted in what I eat. I am still eating a bit of chocolate from the protein bars or breakfast cookies so don’t feel like I crave it as I get a taste of it. I am also eating dinners like curry, bolognese and macaroni cheese so don’t feel like I’m missing out at all.

I have found the diet fit really well into my lifestyle and don’t find it a hassle. I tend to swap my dinner option and have that for lunch, and then have my lunch option for dinner. I find the lunch options are lighter and quicker (sometimes a shake, other times soup, pasta or a protein bar) so they fit in better for me to have of an evening, when I’m busy getting the kids fed and bathed and the hubby’s dinner ready.

Two weeks in and I would completely recommend this diet. It does help that I’m held accountable if you like, to Diet Chef, but the weight loss I have achieved so far is so motivating I want to keep doing well. I’m feeling good so here goes week 3…
