Well, my time doing the Diet Chef diet is nearly up. I say nearly up, as with Christmas Day, Boxing Day and our ‘second’ Christmas Day with my side of the family, I didn’t exactly stick to it as I should of, this past week. So, I still have a few days worth of food left. I will do a final, final weigh in after all of that is used up.
This week I sadly gained 1lb! (Still means 14lbs off in 4 weeks). I’m not surprised though as I had lots of chocolate and indulgent meals. I am surprised it wasn’t more, to be honest.
After these next few days are up I’m nervous about what diet plan I should follow. This one hasn’t restricted me of any foods as such, so I think calorie counting, although a little tedious, is the way to go. It seems when I have dieted before and things are ‘off limits’, it makes me want them even more than normal haha.
I’m going to be gutted having to prepare my own meals again too. I don’t think I can stress enough just how handy and quick this diet is. It is not a hassle at all. Literally just heat your food up. I will miss that side of things for sure. Plus, it all tastes good. It hasn’t felt like a ‘diet’ much at all as I’ve enjoyed what I ate, on the whole felt full, and it has been great to fit into my lifestyle.
Here goes the last few days…

*I have been gifted a four week supply of Diet Chef for an honest review. All thoughts and words are my own. If you want to give it a go, use the discount code MYAHGDGD to get £10 off your order (valid on orders of £190 or more).
A 1lb gain over Christmas is amazing! Multiply that by 6 and that’s what I gained. Good luck with what you decide to try next x
I would love to give Diet Chef a go, however it’s hard with a Mini Me too, having to prepare different things to eat. I am back on Weight Watchers again and so long as I am careful and drink plenty of water as opposed to carbonated drinks and exercise my butt off… I really do find it works. A great weight loss in 4 weeks though – proves that with healthy eating you can lose weight! Sim @ simslife.co.uk
We are running a Weight Loss Wednesday linky over at Sim’s Life – people are on different diets and exercise routines, may give you some inspiration!x
It sounds like you’ve had a lot of success with Diet Chef and I hope that the calorie counting goes well. I think it’s a good method rather than trying to remove foods from your life altogether. Thanks for linking up with #BloggingToJogging xx
