Exante’s New Dessert Shakes

If you are looking for a way to lose a little weight this summer, than I think the Exante diet is a great option. I have used it on and off for a while now and have seen results each time. I think that one of the best ways to use the diet is by using it as part of the 5:2 diet.

As part of that, you eat normal, balanced food for five days of the week. Then you have two ‘fasting’ days where you have a low calorie food day. So you only have around 500 or 600 calories that day. The Exante shakes are around 200 calories each so you can have one of those for each meal. Those days can be hard as you can feel  little hungry. but you know that the next day you’ll be eating like normal so it makes it much easier! As part of my PCOS diagnosis, intermittent fasting is proven to help control the symptoms of it. So it is something that I will keep up.

Exante has a new range of dessert style shakes that I have been trying out. I know that they shakes nd desserts work for me, so it was interesting to try out the new flavours. They are:

The shakes are super easy to mix up. You just add them in a shaker bottle with some water. It is ready in seconds. So another plus is that they are super easy to make and have on the go. The Eton Mess shake was so delicious! It has little dried strawberry pieces in, along with little meringue pieces. It was really creamy and tasty. the strawberry trifle shake didn’t taste too dissimilar to a strawberry shake, but it was still tasted creamy and fresh.

The flavoured delight puddings were a lot nicer than I thought they would be. Again, you just mx it up with water. it is important to mix it through with a whisk so that all of the lumps come out. It thickens up really quickly, so you have an ‘angel delight’ style pudding. I liked the thickness of them and the creaminess. They tasted good but my favourite had to be the strawberry or chocolate.

I think that at £1.59 each, they are a pretty good deal. So if you are looking to mix up your diet and lose a few pounds this summer, then I would recommend using Exante. I think the 5:2 option is a great way to do it too.

Have you ever tried Exante before?
