Favourite Places For a UK Staycation

Summer might be over but that doesn’t mean to say you’re holidaying has to come to an end; Autumn still provides us with some sunshine, so the great outdoors shouldn’t be neglected. As it gets colder, wrap up and make the most of city break season; stunning sights and winter markets.

Many of you may have a few extra days to take as holiday before the end of the working year. Use this time effectively and plan something that you’ll remember. Maybe this is not the case for you, but remember all of us are entitled to a break, so why not plan for a weekend away?

Perhaps you’re well overdue quality time with your family. Maybe you’re organising a girls weekend or a lads trip. Whether you’re planning an engagement, celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary or you just want to get away from it all, you will want to make sure that you’re staying in the ideal setting. The thing is, it can be terribly difficult to organise a getaway abroad for a large group, and even trickier to plan a surprise romantic getaway. So, why not consider a staycation?

No airport delays, currency exchange rates or language barriers to contend with – you can just jump in the car (or on the train) and let the adventure begin. Plus, the UK has so many unique cities, towns, and villages ready to be discovered. Staying in serviced apartments, B&Bs or hotels, it’s achievable to visit any UK destination of your choice – and you won’t have to spend thousands. There are plenty of amazing spots that might tempt you, here are a few favourites:
