An (Indoor) Afternoon with BEAR

I hate to bang on about the weather, but it has literally been rubbish since we got back from our holiday. We haven’t been able to get outside much and all our strawberries in the garden are turning to mush. I don’t think I’ve known a July like it! We were sent a fun hamper last week, for the kids to enjoy from the lovely people at BEAR. It had the new flavours of the BEAR Nibbles paws to try, as well as some instructions for some yoga outdoors. But typically, when we set aside some time in-between nursery school and general life go through the hamper, it was still raining outside 🙁

BEAR have teamed up with the Wildlife Trust this summer to get our little one’s outside and back to nature (weather permitting, of course)! You can checkout some of their suggestions for things to do on their website. You can click on each icon, print it out and follow the instructions on the card. I think that it is a great way to get out and about over the summer holidays.

There are all sorts of things to choose to do. From building a water station for bees, to feeding the ducks and doing an egg and spoon race. Lots of simple but effective fun for our little ones over summer. You can collect the cards in the packs of Paws too. Building a mini-beast hotel anyone? I love the BEAR brand as all of their products are natural and with no added refined sugar. Perfect for me to munch on too 😉

Max tried his hand at yoga for the first time and found it really fun. He said it gave him lots of energy too. I think I’ll be using the yoga mat after him! We will definitely continue this over summer and get out in the garden for some yoga.

Watch how he got on here:
