My Top Picks: New Garden Seating and Furniture

If you follow me on social media then you will know that lately we have been making a lot of changes to our home. We added an extension at the beginning of the year, and the last couple of weeks have been having the driveway done (it hadn’t been looked at in years), and we’ve overhauled the garden and created a patio space. Gone are the days of sitting on the step of the back door to eat al fresco!

But with a patio space and a garden with a new lawn, comes getting some furniture and seating to match. I know we won’t use it all year round, but for the lush weather we have been having lately, somewhere comfortable to sit out and relax is a must.

We decided to go for a deckchair style of seat, as they can be more upright or more laid back, so they work well for all that we will need them for. We don’t have the space for a full table and chairs on the patio, so though that just somewhere else to sit would be better, along with some little chairs for the little people.

Armadillo Sun

One my search for some outdoor seating, I cam across Armadillo Sun, which is a range of all-weather outdoor seating and accessories, that is pretty much the funkiest I have ever seen. Despite the soft fabric feel of them (we’ve got the stunning palm print cushion), they are 100% water resistant, as well as resistant to mould and mildew.

They are also UV and fade resistant all products can hack being out in the crazy British weather, without you having to dash out to bring them indoors repeatedly.

So I love that as a selling point, as it makes them nice and low-maintenance, but still looking good in your garden.

Some of the best news about the cushion, and the range in general, is that they are also made to be stain resistant, which makes them ideal for being out in the garden, especially when we will be eating and drinking out there on or near them – such a good idea with kids around. The patterns are really lovely (there are a few different styles available) and it makes a refreshing change from most garden furniture.

What do you think to the colours and style?

If you’re looking for garden furniture, then these are some of my top choices – it would be great to hear what you think. Have you got an outdoor space to relax in?
