iWhite2 Instant Teeth Whitening | Review

One of the things that I love about having a blog, is the opportunities that it opens up to my family and I. One thing that I have been wanting to do for a while is to have my teeth whitened and I have been lucky to be able to try out an at-home tooth whitening kit called iWhite2 Instant Teeth Whitening.

I have tried out whitening strips before and whilst I found them to work but they made my teeth really, really sensitive. My teeth aren’t normally sensitive so I noticed the difference quite obviously when I would go to have a drink of water or something else cold.

The iWhite kit is packs of prefilled trays, kind of like gum shields, that you push over your teeth. You then keep them on for 20 minutes, then remove the trays, throw them away and rinse out your mouth. They work as an as-and-when kind of teeth whitening or you can use for 5 consecutive days for an intense whitening, so I obviously went for the intense option 😉

I don’t think my teeth were too bad to start with (although a little crooked after looking at these close ups. Cringe) but from the pictures below I do think there is a difference in the colour of the teeth, particularly around the gum line where more plaque and yellow is.

What I liked:

~ I liked that the trays are really quick and easy to use.

~ 20 minutes goes by really fast and easily can fit into your routine.

~ The price of £29.95 for 5 days worth is really reasonable.

~ I was pleased with the results. It is a subtle difference but a difference all the same.

~ My teeth didn’t feel sensitive after use. At all.

Other comments:

~ You need to avoid swallowing the gel so when you put the trays on your teeth, just push them gently so the excess doesn’t squeeze out.

~ iWhite works only on natural teeth. Fillings, crowns and veneers will not be affected by this product so something to think about if you have those, particularly in the visible part of your teeth.

~ You shouldn’t use the product if you suffer from gum problems.

Do you think this is something that you would try? If you want whiter teeth easily, I would recommend it.
