Tis The Season For Looking Good | JORD Wood Watch Review & Giveaway

If you are looking for something for the man in your life this Christmas, then how about getting them a watch? They are something that we all use (well I do. I’d be lost without it)! So for me, it makes a perfect gift. Thanks to the lovely people at JORD Wood Watches, my hubs has been able to get an early gift; a wood watch of his own!

The watch that the husband chose is this stunning Conway Series watch in dark sandalwood and burgundy. I really like this style and may have told him that this was the best choice. I like that it is dark wood, rather than light. I just preferred it over the others.

First impressions were really good, though. You are first presented with a wooden box. It looks really stylish and very well made. It is smooth and even has a little drawer that pulls out. So it can be a useful storage piece for the watch and little bits of jewellery. I like that the lid is magnetic too. Just a cool design feature that shows the quality of the brand, if you ask me.

Before you order the watch, you can measure the wrist that it will be used, to make sure that the sizing is just right. When my husband tried on the watch it did fit well. It wasn’t too tight, which is what he prefers. So if you do order one, it is a good idea to just give the measurement as it is. Don’t givea larger size, if you like it to be quite a fitted watch, if that makes sense?

The main of the watch looks really good. I like the colour of it; it looks really effective without being bright or tacky looking. I like how the face looks different colours depending on what light it is in. Quite a unique little feature. The different dials make it look really cool and I like the little feature of having the date on it. Mr. U found that watch easy to adjus; it only took him a few minutes.

The main feature is that the watch is wooden, though. Such a unique thing that makes for a really good looking watch. My husband thought the watch was heavier than he expected and thinks that it doesn’t feel cheap. He said it felt like ‘proper’ wood, and not just hollow cheap wood. And when you’re spending around $200 for a watch, you want to make sure you’re getting a quality product. It looks and feels like it is for sure. Having said that, it is relatively cheap compared to metal watches that are of a similar quality.

The whole order and delivery process worked well too. To say it was coming from the States, it was really quick delivery too. Pleased with the whole process. If you’re quick, you could order one in time for Christmas. I think they’d make a fab gift. They do a large range of watches, so perfect for both males and females. All in all I would recommend one of these watches. I’d quite like one for myself 😉
