Max has had two weeks of school now and we are finally getting into the swing of things. Although he stays for school dinner for his lunch, he takes a snack each day for his morning break. We have been under strict instructions as to what he can have. It can’t contain things like nuts of course, but it has to be fruit or something like vegetable sticks.
Luckily Max likes lots of fruit to eat so that isn’t a problem. One thing that he also loves are BEAR fruit yoyos. With a lot of dried fruit, they have added sugar and lots of other junk. I like that these are literally just the fruit. So it gets a tick on the acceptable list for him to take into school. They are allowed because they are completely natural; making them happy by nature 😉
Max likes that there are lots of different flavours to choose from, as well as the cards that they come with. The flavours they come in a strawberry, apple, mango, raspberry, blackcurrant and pineapple. He considers himself a bit of a connoisseur and loves them all!
They work as one of your five a day too. Pretty perfect for a snack. Works well for a quick after school or school pick up snack too. They come in packs of 5 and 9 as well as individually. I like to buy as many as I can in bulk, though. Then they work out quite a bit cheaper. I think they are worth the money, though. We all like them on our house. They are sweet as they are fruit, so good if you fancy something sweet. So much better for you than reaching for a bag of sweets, though.
Have you ever tried these with your little ones?
*thanks to BEAR for the samples and lunchbox. All opinions are my own.
Generally I don’t read post on blogs, however I would like to say
that this write-up very forced me to take a look at and do
so! Your writing style has been surprised me.
Thanks, quite nice post.
