LOTD.com Winter Wishlist

Anyone that knows me well, knows how much I love shopping online. Having to traipse around town hunting down the items I want is not my idea of fun anymore… Especially since having little ones. I know some people are a little reluctant to shop online, especially for clothes. But I have come to know certain tips and tricks when shopping online for clothes, as well as the things that I know will or won’t fit me, as it can vary from store to store. So it does take some time knowing what will or won’t work. I think I’ve got it down to a fine art, though, now!

I chose a few new pieces for winter from the new online store LOTD.com (standing for Look of the Day), recently, so just thought I would share how I got on with them and how their sizing is for, well, size. So here are some of the pieces that I got, and what I thought. Have you ever heard of LOTD.com before?

Want list:

^Khaki Quilted Faux Fur Jacket – £25

^Blue Distressed Frayed Hem Jeans – £15

  • The first item of clothing I got was the Navy Chevron Jumper (£18). It looked really striking to me when I was on the page, so I just had to have it. It is quite a dark navy, though, and have worn with black jeans, as well as blue jeans. It looks really good with the chevron pattern. I found that the jumper was a little short (but it is pictured as being quite short), so don’t get if you want a long cosy sweater. It fit true to size and the quality is much better than expected – really pleased with it.
  • I have been after some western style buckle ankle boots for a while now, as I had seen quite a few people in them as I’ve been out and about. So when I saw they had these Black Studded Buckle Boots for the bargain price of £20 I just had to have them. I am typically a size 6, but I know in this style of boot, having quite broad feet, I am a size 7 usually. And I was right to size up as the 7s fit perfectly. they are super comfy, look much more expensive that they are and really complete an outfit. I am so pleased with them and I think they will be my go-to boots this winter. I have worn with jeans and dresses alike!
  • I know you probably don’t think of strappy sandals as a winter essential, but party season is upon us and I love the ‘barely there’ look. The perfect addition to any party outfit. I love the Black Barely There Heels (£15) but they do have a variety of colours for any outfit.

Have you got any favourite pieces here? Have you heard of LOTD.com before? Would love to hear what you think.
