My baby sister turned 21 a few days ago (I know, crazy, I remember seeing her in the hospital when she was half an hour old – I was 7). To celebrate, one of the many things she chose to do was to go to see McBusted in concert! Luckily for me, she wanted some sister time so me and the younger two (our older sister lives in the US – we miss her), headed off to arena in Leeds to make our teenage dreams come true!
I was such a massive fan of MucBusted back in the day (very gutted my favourite Charlie wasn’t taking part) but it I really enjoyed it and was just a really fun night. I remember walking up to Woolworths in my lunch break at school with my friends and buying the first Busted single on CD – most retro sentence ever?
A lot of my fellow ‘noughties – teens’ must have been on the same wavelength and up for a fun nostalgic night as my little sister said to me: “There is quite a lot of old people here, like your age”. Ha, love that girl!
We sang, we danced and had a great time.
The best part though? Silly selfies and spending time with my sisters.
