For me, March is a really lovely month. We start to see the signs of spring with pretty crocuses sporting out and (my favourite) tulips in all their lovely colours. We have a few family birthdays in March, as well as celebrations like Mother’s Day. As it does change every year over here in the UK, I thought I’d remind you that it is Mothering Sunday on 26th March. So just over two weeks to get prepared.
If you are have a mum, grandma, sister, wife or friend to spoil in your life, then here are a few ideas for them this Mother’s Day. Pretty much all of these I have used myself, and would only recommend them if I think they are good quality and of use.
1.The Morning Sidekick Journal* – $29.90 (or £24.55)
This product comes from the US, so if you want to get it, it is best to get on it soon. Mine took a week to arrive. I like that this journal is a little different to others that I have used before. It is full of inspiration, quotes and motivation. More of a ‘get stuff done’ journal, than just a blank notebook of thoughts. It is well made and in my opinion, it is worth the money. If the mum in your life is busy and finds it hard to make time for herself, I think this would make a great gift.
2. A5 Light Box** – £12.99
I treated myself to one of these, except a larger A4 sized one in the run up to Christmas. I have used it a lot since! Max likes to use it too and he’ll often leave messages on it (mainly about him being cool). So funny as he is learning to read and spell. It does need batteries, so could be an extra little gift thrown in for your mum.
3. Personalised Latte Mug* – £6.50
I am a sucker for anything personalised. I think grandparents tend to be too, especially if it has the grandchildren on. So I think a mug like this would make a really cute addition. To say it is personalised, mine took hardly any time to arrive. I’d allow a few working days, though.

4. Leather Bound Photo Album* – from £34.99
I love the quality of this photo album, it really is well made and worth the money. I have another item from Pen Heaven and I have always been impressed buy the quality and style of them. There are several colours available for this photo album, but I think the purple would work well for Mother’s Day. I love that it can be embossed too, to make it something really special. A cute gift would be to fill it with some photographs too. Everything is online these days, so it is really lovely to have somewhere to put actual printed out photographs.
5. BFF Rose Gold Bracelet Set** – £22
If you and your mum are besties, then this would make a really cute gift (and she’s going to give one to you to keep too, of course). I like that it is a little chunkier and like the colours of it.

6. With Love Wooden Puzzle* – £29
If you’re going to get a puzzle, then a wooden one is the way to go. I really love this one from Wentworth Puzzles. We’ve had a few puzzles from there before and they are such good quality. Completely wort the money as they’ll last for a long time. I also really like the ‘whimsy’ pieces, that make shapes, or in this instance spell out Happy Mothers Day. Really sweet.
You can win a Mother’s Day hamper with Wentworth Wooden Puzzles, on there social pages, just click below – good luck!
7. Yankee Candle, Summer Peach – from £7.99
Because it wouldn’t be Mother’s Day (or a gift guide from me) without a Yankee Candle on the list. I know we’re not quite in summer yet but this ‘summer peach’ candle smells amazing!
8. Mama Sweatshirt – £50
I love these sweatshirts. Not only are they comfy and look good, but they do good too. £10 from each sale goes to women’s charities. They have different colours and sayings too, so if you’re not a mama you could pick mother or just have one saying winging it. They’re awesome.
9. Namastay Wall Art** – £6
I just love this – my perfect mantra as a busy mum and wannabe yogi. I need it on my wall!
Use the code AAUBLOG20 to get 20% off any purchase from Coconut Lane.
10. Cup and Saucer Duo – £20
When I saw these online I just had to add them to the list. They are just so funky. I am not a dainty person, so dainty anything, jewellery or tea sets don’t interest me. I love the style of this one, though. Really retro and funky. And all mums like a hot choc or cup of tea, right?!
11. The Happy Woman: What You Can Learn from Kids, Dogs and Men Book** – £7.95
If you’d like to enter to win a copy of this book (as an eBook), then just enter as many options as you’d like, on the Rafflecopter form below. A really interesting read to help mums be happier and healthier. Good luck!
12. Hotel Chocolat Mother’s Day Sleekster* – £22.50
I know most mums say they don’t want anything edible for gifts. But who can say no to Hotel Chocolat? I have a competition running to win one of these Mother’s Day Sleeksters on a different blog post – be quick – it ends on 16th March!
13. Pretty Little Treats Box* – from £3.50
Such a cute gift idea from a company that has the perfect name for what they are – pretty, little and a treat. You can choose around three of four items from their selection of bath and beauty products. They are super pretty though and all hand crafted. The box comes free and it is just as pretty. If you’ve got a mother that likes to be pampered, then it will be the perfect gift. Such a bargain too if you ask me.
Is there anything here that takes your fancy? Would love to hear what I think.*PR sample. All opinions are my own.
