Foodie Gifts for Mother’s Day

It’s a bit of a last minute post, but there is still time to get some goodies for Mother’s Day. It might seem like a bit of a cop-out, getting gifts that are edible, but when you choose something special, it can definitely be a good idea. Who doesn’t like something that tastes good that suits their taste? It can be something the family can share, or that mum can have all to herself.

So without further ado, here are some brands that I love that have some perfect gifts for Mother’s Day, especially if the mother in your life is a bit of a foodie. Be quick to order, though – Mother’s Day is on Sunday 27th March!

Guylian Belgian Master’s Collection Chocolates

Guylian is a brand that I love, but they have much more to them than just having the classic seashell and seahorse collection. The Belgian Master’s Collection is perfect for Mother’s Day as it is cute and delicate, and comes in lovely packaging with a pop of pink. The chocolates themselves are small and delicate too, so it doesn’t feel like your overindulging having a few of them.

The chocolates are unlike other I have ever had before. The flavours are unique, but still taste wonderful, and you can still get the class Guylian praline taste with some of the chocolates. The chocolates are made with ingredients of the highest quality, with some delicious recipes. There are mini pralines with some exotic flavours. The Guylian Master’s Selection gift box is an ideal luxury gift for Mother’s Day as it is definitely a premium product and one of the premium boxes that Guylian sell.

At a modest RRP of £9.99, it is definitely worth the money and should suit most budgets. Honestly, tastes so good. There wasn’t one that I didn’t like. They are delicate and decorated beautifully too. What is not to love?

Coconut Macaroon Selection from Nourish

If you are looking for a foodie gift that is less have filled, and perhaps for a vegan foodie in your life, then Nourish have an amazing range of organic coconut-based products. Their signature products are their coconut macaroons, which vary in flavour, from passionfruit to vanilla. They also do flapjacks, cookies, and raw bars, so there is something for everyone.

The good thing about Nourish is that there are a variety of products to choose from, with a variety of flavours. Some are vegan, some are suitable for keto and paleo diets, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and some are nut-free. But they all taste good and are really affordable so could definitely work as a gift this Mother’s Day. The packaging is recyclable or home compostable, so a fab gift.

Il Gusto Oils and Vinegar Set

If your mum or the woman in your life that you are celebrating, is more of a foodie than a drinker then how about treating her to a selection of Il Gusto’s Oils and Vinegars? They have a range of organic olive oils and balsamic vinegars, as well as oils that are infused with herbs, not to mention their fruit based balsamic vinegars – my absolute favourite! The Balsamic Vinegars are produced in Modena, Italy, using traditional methods, which you can really tell from the taste and the quality of the product. The vinegars are also aged in oak barrels, again, showing you the quality that you’d expect from Il Gusto, and of course, they are all free from colours, thickeners and preservatives.

I have been so impressed with the set, the vinegars especially, with flavours I would have never thought of before. They work well and taste great. Perfect for cooking with, as well as dipping with, and creating sauces or dressings. The prices vary, but they are not what I would class as ‘expensive,’ especially for a gift. The bottles and boxes that they come in are great too, so I think definitely worth the money.

Hope you have a lovely weekend, with the loved ones in your life.
