Ozeri – Review

I love trying out new recipes, whether it is things we will eat for meals or yummy baking, so it’s safe to say I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I was recently sent a new product to try – a 20 inch Green Earth pan by Ozeri. I was really excited to try it out, I think, as far as pans go, it looks really good – love the striking green colour.

There of course are the usual things you can use a pan for, stir-fry veg, frying or scrambling eggs… the list goes on. But I thought the ultimate test for a frying pan, to see how ‘non-stick’ it really is, has to be pancakes! Any excuse…

I hardly had to use any oil (I used a drop about the size of a pea), and it was fantastically non-stick, really easy to flip, really easy to move mixture around the pan, brilliant. There was no excess left in the pan, it really has a brilliant smooth ceramic non-stick coating on it that does work. The coating is ultra-safe as its derived from nature. It is 100% PTFE and PFOA free, meaning that it won’t release any harmful fumes or toxins at high temperatures. It is non-scratch too which is always useful if you accidentally use a metal utensil in the pan. The pan is made from pure aluminium with no heavy metals or harmful chemicals.
