The Productivity Problem

There’s not a person alive who doesn’t wish they could be more productive. Even the busiest among us wish there was time to be more productivity. Whether you want to improve the family and work balance, or start a new hobby, time is of the essence. You may have worked on a system that gives you enough time to do everything you need. But, chances are you don’t have the time to for anything extra. To make room for everything, it’s crucial you make extra time. But where could it come from? TO-DO LISTS

Okay, so a to-do list can’t make more time. But, it can help you manage the time you already have. People who used these lists swear by them. People who don’t often fail to see the point.
Sites like www.sharecare.com outline the benefits if you aren’t convinced. But, if you take a step back, those benefits are obvious. To do lists are fantastic in a few different ways. No only do they allow you to manage your time, but they also enable you to ensure you do everything you need. And, you get the satisfying addition of crossing off tasks as you finish them. Nothing quite beats that feeling of accomplishment. If you’ve never tried a to do list before, give it a go. It may be that you need to alter the technique to suit your needs. Or, a standard to do list may work wonders for you!

WAKE UP EARLIER

Nobody likes the idea of waking up earlier, but it’s worth doing. If you wake up an hour earlier every day, you gain a whopping seven hours a week. That’s a massive 365 extra hours a year. Just from getting up a little earlier! There’s no denying that it can be a hard habit to get into. But, once you master the art, your body will adjust quicker than you might think. Of course, going to bed early wouldn’t work here. That would mean you don’t gain any time. Instead, making sure you get the best night’s sleep possible may make a difference. If you spend half the night tossing and turning, it’s no wonder you struggle to wake up. Buy a new mattress from a site like www.herdysleep.com and see if it makes a difference. Make sure, too, that you aren’t woken by noise or light distractions. Buy an eye mask if you think you need one.

STOP WASTING TIME

We may all complain about there not being enough time, but we’re excellent at wasting the time we do have. Our phones seem to be the main culprit here. We spend a lot of time scrolling through them for no reason more than habit. Cut that out and see what a difference it makes. Commutes are another time waster, but an unavoidable one. Instead of sitting staring out the time, get into the habit of using that time to do something worthwhile!
