It’s pumpkin season, and an exciting time of year.
Now, it’s all well and good having spooky pumpkins perfectly placed around your home, but after Halloween has been and gone, then what?
Most people just throw away their pumpkins without thinking twice about it! To me this is simply sacrilegious! Pumpkins are in fact a highly versatile fruit that we should be taking full advantage of by absolutely celebrating every Autumn.
Whether you’re an amateur in the kitchen or a total pro, the pumpkin always feels like an absolute triumph when you get it right.
By having a handful of pumpkin recipes you will be starting a wonderful new Autumnal tradition – well, you’ll pretty much be forced into it, as your family will demand you recreate the glorious goodies year after year!
Regardless of whether you have a sweet tooth or you’re a savoury lover; if you’re on the paleo bandwagon or if your vegan, there’ll be a pumpkin recipe out there to tickle your fancy. So, don’t waste your pumpkin this year and try one of these golden recipes:
Pumpkin Coconut Curry by the Lazy Cat Kitchen
Spiced Pumpkin, Carrot & Sweet Potato Soup by Fuss Free Flavours
Pumpkin Risotto with Walnuts by Krumpli
Pumpkin, Chorizo & Feta Salad by Scrummy Lane
