Review: Hot Water Bottle Shop

The nights are getting darker sooner and the temperature is dropping; could it be? My favourite time of the year is here?!

I am a big fan of autumn, although it does mean that things like Christmas shopping need to start and all of the busy things that come with having school aged children. I like to get things like Christmas shopping done as early as possible, in order to enjoy as much of the festive season as possible. Plus, I’ve got two sons with December birthdays now so I need to make sure that I am mega organised!

Gifts for all the family from Hot Water Bottle Shop

If you are looking for an ideal gift for all members of the family, then you don’t need to look too much further than hotwaterbottleshop.co.uk. I hadn’t heard of it until recently, but they have a great range of items and there will be something for everyone. There are lavender wheat bags for the kids, and dressing gowns and slippers for parents. Not to mention the range of hot water bottles, of course! I think that this year, with the cost of living increasing, layering up with dressing gowns, slippers, and water bottles, will take us all back to times gone by to keep us all warm and cosy, but keeping costs down by not putting the heating on.

Microwavable Heaties for Kids

The lavender wheat bags that we have been sent for the kids are great. Not only do they do exactly what ‘say on the tin,’ but they are really well made. Easy to heat in the microwave, it only needs a minute to be warm and toasty, which the children have loved heating up, putting in their bed, brushing their teeth, and then getting into a warm bed with a warm cuddly toy to snuggle with.

The designs are great and there is so much choice! I went for a koala and a husky, as I knew my two would love these, but you can choose from pandas, penguins, and everything in between. They are snuggly and soft, but still sturdy and solid to be left in your bed to keep warm. They smell good with the scent of lavender, but it isn’t too overpowering. Taking this to bed will be great for the kids, as I know the power that lavender has on sleep. I quite like how they sit up easily on their own too.

Value for money?

The prices of the heaties vary from £15 to £20, but I think that this is totally justifiable for the product that you get. They are good quality, well made, and you can tell that they will last for a while. The designs are great too and they work; to heat up gently, which is what it is all about.

Have you heard of the Hot Water Bottle Shop? It would be great to hear what you think.
