If you are someone that knows me well, you will know how much I love fresh flowers in the house. I love to shop for them and choose flowers that are in season and that will go with my seasonal decor, as well as arranging them and displaying them in the home. Fresh flowers are a go-to gift for people in my life as a thank you or when they need a little pick-me-up. It probably sounds a little silly, but flowers just make me smile and when I walk past them in the house they give me a little lift.

The Elsa
The flowers that I have been sent are the Elsa flowers, but to be honest, all of the ranges that they have, for a variety of different occasions, are all stunning. Some with pops of colour like the blue thistles in this one, to pops of red in Valentine’s ranges, and so on. The Elsa is unlike many fresh flower bouquets that you will see, with a wild and garden style to it. The main and striking flower is the blue thistle, which is such a gorgeous shade, as well as white carnations (my mother’s favourite), white alstroemerias, and scented eucalyptus (smells amazing). As they are flowers that are in season all year round, it will work well for any occasion. With the hint of blue, though, and the Elsa name, I think they make for a wonderful fresh winter bouquet. The blue, white, and green look really great together.
I like that when the flowers get delivered they haven’t opened yet, so you are getting flowers that are yet to bloom so they will last for longer. After a couple of days mine were all open and you can see just how lush the bouquet looks altogether.

Reducing Carbon Footprint

Value For Money?
The prices of the bouquets do vary, but Elsa, for example, costs £29.50. This is totally comparable to other letterbox flower companies that I have used, so it is the price that you pay for premium grade flowers (longer lasting than the ones you find in a supermarket). However, if you are someone that likes to have flowers regularly, or want to send as a gift to someone throughout the year, then you can set up a flower subscription and get 10% off the price (so the Elsa would be £26.55 each time). You can choose from weekly, fortnightly, or monthly subscription deliveries. All of this with free postage, I think is great, and definitely value for money. I have had my flowers for over a week now and they are still going strong and looking great! I used the flower food and have changed the water, and it all helps to keep them lasting and looking good.
