Review: Reverse Life Collagen

I am all for dietary supplements that can help you to be healthier, as well as help you to get the extra vitamins and nutrients that you don’t necessarily get from your diet (or get as much as you should from the food that you eat). One of the things that we need, and can get from food we eat, is collagen. But if you’re not able to get it all the time from the food that you have, then taking a daily shot of collagen has been proven to make a difference. But first things are first, what is a collagen drink?

What Are Collagen Drinks?

Collagen is something that we have in our bodies, but as we age, it can decline. It is a protein that contains amino acids, which are the building blocks in our body to help our bones and our tissues stay together. When you have plenty of collagen, your skin will be strong and have more elasticity, which is what can help to reduce the signs of ageing.

There are some lifestyle factors that can impact the reduction of collagen in your body. Getting older is one of them, but sadly, not avoidable. But a diet high in sugar, smoking, sun damage to the skin, and drinking a lot of alcohol can all reduce how much collagen you have. When you don’t do anything about it, you’ll get more fine lines and skin is more likely to be sagging or loose.

Collagen drinks like Reverse Life are there to help fight those signs of ageing and help improve your skin’s appearance. Collagen can help to improve your skin, but also your hair, nails, joints, and help your gut too.

How Do Collagen Drinks Work?

They are really simple, as you just take a 25ml shot of Reverse Life each day, and it tastes good so it isn’t a chore at all! But with that daily dose, you can plump up your skin. The collagen is digested and then absorbed into the gut. It can work quickly, according to dermatologists, and the evidence suggests that it can help the tissues in your body for up to two weeks, which is really good news.

Reverse Life Daily Marine Collagen

Reverse Life is a liquid supplement that means getting a dose of 10,000mg marine collagen per 25ml daily dose that you take. All to help your skin and tissue connectivity. It can also help to support the production of hyaluronic acid in your skin, as well as vitamin C, which is so important for skin to be hydrated and plump.

Benefits of Collagen:

  • Strong nails
  • Lengthens lashes
  • Rejuvenates and strengthens hair
  • Soft skin, that is firm and more plump
  • Helps with joint pain
  • Fights against unwanted wrinkles and skin dryness
  • Improved gut health
  • Improved energy levels

Hearing the word ‘marine’ collagen can make you think that it will be quite fishy tasting, but it isn’t like that at all! The berry flavour of Reverse Life that I have been trying is so tasty; I actually look forward to having it each morning. I keep mine in the fridge but as long as it is kept somewhere cool then it is all good. It is quite syrupy, so a little bit of a treat (but it is actually low-calorie and sugar-free).

It is hard to tell if the collagen is completely working for me yet, as it has only been a week, but I am enjoying tasting it, and the evidence is out there that collagen supplements do actually work. It has been easy to fit it into my life which makes such a difference.

The price for one bottle is £29, but if you buy more and in bulk, such as two bottles at a time or four, then it doesn make each bottle cheaper (£49 for two bottles, for example).

Have you heard of Reverse Life before? It would be great to hear what you think.
