Review: Satin Pyjamas from IDENTITY LINGERIE

I’ll be honest, much to my husband’s dismay, I have been living in my maternity pyjamas two years on from my youngest being born. Soft and comfortable, right? Especially with a superrr stretchy waistband. However, not much to look at, especially two years on.

When I had the opportunity to review some new pyjamas from IDENTITY LINGERIE I was very keen! I liked that there is a big range to choose from, and that there are long sleeved options, as well as trousers to choose from, not just shorts; definitely more my style.

Long Sleeve Payjamas from IDENTITY LINGERIE

The pyjamas I chose are navy satin lace long sleeve pyjamas and they are just so dreamy. I couldn’t believe that satin pyjamas could be as comfortable as my old faithfuls, but they really are! They are soft, comofrtable, easy to wear, and look SO much better than my faded pink maternity option… There were so many great styles of pyjamas to choose from at IDENTITY LINGERIE, I will look there when I need a new pair, that’s for sure. But as the name suggests, they do sell a range of items from lingerie to beautiful items like a satin multiway dress. The materials and quality of the satin product I have received is amazing.

I have also been impressed at the price point for such as quality product. The navy ones that I have cost £56. For good quality satin, I think this is really good value. In this style there are also other colour options, such as black, ivory white, and beige. The ivory white would be perfect for a wedding day.

I was impressed about the range of clothing sizes. As someone that is generally a UK 18, it can be a struggle sometimes to find something that fits. And for something like pyjamas, I don’t want them to be tight, but I have the XL and they fit so well.

The pjs help me to feel more glamorous at night, that is for sure. With the lace sleeves, they add something extra. The wrap waist helps comfort too, and I know I can layer up with a vest top underneath if required in winter. Although I have just been using them for regular nightwear, I think getting matching ones for bridesmaids before a wedding, for example, could work really well. Because they don’t have anything to pull over your head, as it is a wrap jacket, it means it won’t damage any intricate hairdo’s the morning of the wedding.

About the Brand

IDENTITY LINGERIE is a new brand to me, but I was interested to hear about their story. They are a socially responsible, family-run UK brand founded in 2017. They’re all about creating ethically handcrafted items, and the brand’s journey started in Surrey; local to me! When you subscribe to their website newsletter, you get sent a free scrunchie, made from fabric leftovers. I think this is a brilliant initiative.

What do you think to the pyjamas? It would be great to hear what you think.
