Light pink and blush as the chosen colours for spring is not exactly revolutionary. And I am actually not a big fan of the colour. However, what caught my eye this season was the combination of the girl-next-door colour with very fashion forward designs. It was an interesting mix. Let me show you!
1.New Look Shell Pink Wrap Front 1/2 Sleeve Bodysuit
Bodysuits are everywhere this season. I liked this wrap front style and especially liked the elbow length sleeves. This is an item that you can wear at work or out for drinks or with scruffy jeans in the weekend and it still ends up looking polished.
2.Mango Metallic Dress
It sounds strange but this metallic dress is as flexible as it gets! The colour makes its appropriate for the day – with white sneakers and for night – with gold heels, for summer – with a light wrap and for winter – with a fur jacket. Bonus is the slip dress style which is right on trend this spring.
3.New Look Pink Floral Bomber Jacket
This bomber jacket is a perfect example of interesting contrast between edgy designs in a feminine colour. Bomber jackets are a major trend this spring and I would definitely recommend a floral one like this over a solid colour!
4.Zara Cold Shoulder Jumpsuit
5.Stradivarius Off The Shoulder Floral Print Top
I hope you have already gotten yourself an off shoulder top. This is definitely the summer uniform for 2016. The jumpsuit is the perfect pink pastel. I like the idea of cutting off the cold-shoulder if you are tired of the trend so its actually quite wearable even in the long term. The floral top is a pick I couldn’t resist – you can never be in a bad mood wearing that!
6.Mango Heel Leather Shoes
I like items that do double (or triple) duty – especially when it comes to shoes. This is great for work, great for weekends and drinks and the best part – its not a crazy heel that you can’t wear. I liked the interesting blush colour instead of the standard summer nude.
7.Dorothy Perkins Mink Twill Joggers
Joggers with everything is the new motto! I love the idea of wearing these with white sneakers during the day and black strappy heels for the night. Such an easy day to night look!
Hope you liked some of these picks or atlast were inspired! I am off to get myself some new spring wear!
