Top Spring Style Picks with Select Fashion

In the age of scrolling across on Instagram, what we see does play a massive part on how we dress and shop more than anything else I think.; I know that it is certainly true for me. So by checking out what is online and in the stores online, what is set to be the next big trends for this spring? I feel like now that we are in March it is totally acceptable to start creating a spring wardrobe now.

There are some micro trends that have been getting a lot of time lately, and I’m not sure I am fully on board with them. The cycling shorts trend for normal clothing is taking athleisure a little too far for me I think. I am liking the chunky trainer trends for sure, but if cycling shorts and chunky trainers aren’t for you, there are still plenty of other trends to be looking out for.

Here are some of the new things in at Select Fashion for the spring that I have my eye on. Spring can be tricky as it still isn’t super warm, though the sun can shine. So mixing things up and being able to layer up for cooler days is what it is all about. I love the culotte trend at the moment, as I think they can be great for casual wear with a pari of Vans or chunky trainers, as well as getting dressed up with some heels.

The midi skirt trend is a must too, right? I love a bit of animal print and the pleated midi skirt is going to be here to stay, with a chunky knit tucked in or a lighter tee for sunnier days. The biker jacket is another nice layer to add to it as well, so no need for a thick or chunky coat for the spring.

I normally wear a lot of dark colours, but think that spring is a great time to add some pops of colour, hence the pops of yellow here and there, and I have the coral tee that I love; really flattering and the colour is perfect for this time of year. Neon or bright colours is a slightly scary trend for this year’s springtime, but considering Prada has been creating highlighter-style accessories and you see people like the Kardashians over on Instagram being fully behind glow-in-the-dark-style outfits, there is going to be a lot of right and neon colours this year.

Here are some of the tip things I have on my list:

Biker Jacket £24.99 // Black Culottes – £12.99 // Zip Front Top – £12.99 // Ripped Black Skinny Dungarees – £26.99

Black Ring Backpack – £14.99 // Rose Gold Crossover Sliders – £12.99 // White Lace Trainers – £12.99

Animal print pleated shirt – £14.99 // Coral Frill Shoulder Top – £11.99 // Colour Block Top £9.99 // Midi Shirt Dress – £19.99

Is there anything here that takes your fancy? It would be great to hear what you think and what style trends you are looking forward to wearing this spring. Bring on some sunshine!
