Just as the new year rolled around, we got our first wedding invite of the year. We have been invited to my friend’s wedding in March. It wasn’t a surprise to us, as my husband will be playing the piano at their wedding. But it certainly got me excited for 2017 and get organised for a wedding.
It is a child-free day so it means I can get my heels and going out dress on and not have to worry about running around after little ones. Shoes are definitely my thing. And after working at Faith Shoes when I was at university I have acquired quite the collection! I’ll have a walk-in wardrobe to display them all in one day…
I haven’t bought myself a new dress in ages, so I thought it might be a fun time to buy one for a spring wedding. Quiz clothing recently asked me to take a look at some of their dresses and I have chosen some of my favourite pieces, that would be perfect for a Spring wedding. I know it is a little early to be thinking about spring, but it’s so cold at the moment, why not plan for the sunnier weather?!
Here are some of my favourites:
1.Black and Silver Glitter Print Long Sleeved Dress – £29.99
I pretty much hate my arms so think that this would work well to cover up, instead of using something like a pashmina. It could work for a day that is slightly colder too.
2.Black Diamante Rose Fascinator – £9.99
You can’t go to a wedding and not wear a fascinator, right?! It’s pretty much the law.
3.Black Faux Suede Wave Strap Sandal – £14.99 (on sale)
I just love the ‘barely there’ style for sandal. This is a different look with the wave effect. Think it would look really striking when you’re wearing them.
4. Silver Diamante Glitter Ball Earrings – £4.99
just for a bit of sparkle!
5. Navy Square Jewel Necklace – £6.99 (on sale)
I don’t often wear navy but I do really like it. I think it could look good with the red, navy or cream dresses here.
6. Navy and Pink Flower Print Bardot Midi Dress – £29.99
This is just so stunning and looks perfect for a wedding. I hate my arms so would use a coverup too I think.
7. Red Lace Sequin Bardot Midi Dress – £19.99 (on sale)
Red is one of my colours. So if I was to step away from my beloved black, then red isn’t too far behind. Love the lace on this dress.
8. Cream Flower Print High Neck Dress – £59.99
The floral design on this is so pretty. Perfect for a wedding. The style of dress is a bit more forgiving when you’ve got a but of a tummy too.
9. Nude Patent Block Heel Sandals – £26.99
Nude heels go with everything don’t they? These would work well with pretty much all of these dresses I think.
10. Cream and Black Flower Skater Dress – £19.99 (on sale)
I like that this is a bit more of a casual option. Still looks really pretty, though.
Have you got any weddings or fun events to go to this year?

I love number 6, and 10 is a bargain. Just need somewhere to wear them!
