Taking The Stress Out of Camping With TentBox

“Anyone up for camping this weekend?”

We are a family who loves the outdoors, we love to be out in the fresh open air. Philosopher and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote: “In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows.” There’s no doubt that being at one with nature is good for the body mind and soul… and yet this innocent question “anyone up for camping this weekend?” is almost always met with moans and groans in my household.

Camping can be great fun, but it can also be a real hassle. The biggest bugbear of mine is pitching the tent. Oh, just the thought of it. Getting out of the car stiff as a board from a long tiring car journey to our destination, craving some instant respite but only to realise you have the onerous task of constructing your hotel for the night. Chances are it starts to rain and either myself or hubby can be seen battling the elements with a contorted face trying to assess the ground to see if it’s suitable. We give each other a look that says: why did we bother?

If only you could park up at an appropriate place, undo a couple of buckles, pull out a step ladder, and be in a cosy den for the evening in two ticks. Sounds too good to be true right? Well, I must have been living under a rock because when I first heard about TentBox I didn’t have a clue what it was! But one mention to hubby and he knows exactly what I’m talking about and eagerly asks if we’re getting one. High praise indeed!

The sleek TentBox attaches on to bars atop almost any size of car, and self-opens into a compact yet surprisingly roomy tent. The included extendable ladder ensures you can get up there easily and then the rest of the night is yours to enjoy! Unfastening some buckles is almost all it takes to get the tent up and running, and it’s just as easy to close down again. Take a look at their full range of tents to choose the one that’s right for you.

I have to say I’m excited about this product and wish I had known about it sooner! Camping with a TentBox might be the answer to your summer holiday prayers!

Suddenly my camping woes are diminishing…

No more checking the ground meticulously for hard rocks!

No more concerns over a soggy tent bottom!

No more creepy crawlies coming straight from the ground into the tent – a real biggie for me!

No restrictions on space!

No car boot full of poles and guy lines!

All those annoying things about camping that would leave me in a less than earth-mother-cool state are now gone and I’m suddenly really excited at the prospect of camping more often as it’s so easy.

If you’ve never gone camping before and need some convincing out of your hotel room then here are some proven benefits of camping:

Camping tends to mean you disconnect from technology (hey, no WiFi here!) which can do wonders for your mental health if you’re nearing burn out with all the constant influx of social media.

You sleep better! Not only will a day of outdoor activities in the fresh air knock you out for a great night’s kip, but your body will also be grateful for the natural wake up call of the sun rather than artificial bed lamp light.

Camping and being outdoors can really aid stress by keeping you grounded and placing you in an ever changing natural environment. Just imagine the pitter-patter sound of rain on the tent roof and you’ll already chill right down!

Convinced yet?!

What do you love most about camping?
