Summer to Autumn Transition Wishlist

The summer weather over here in the UK has been a bit hit and miss. I don’t know what we were expecting, though? Luckily, if you have been able to enjoy a summer holiday, here or abroad, you will have been able to make use of some of your summer wardrobe.

It will be soon coming up to September, which I find is a bit of a transition period, in terms of weather and fashion at least. It isn’t quite full on autumn weather, but gone has the time to use your holiday dresses or scrappy sandals. It is the month of the cardigan, pashmina, ballet flats and ankle boots, in my opinion. So here are some things that I would love in my summer to autumn transition wardrobe.

list

1.Structured Shoulder Bag – £32

I love good shoulder bag in my life! This one is a good size, perfect for trips out with the little ones, whilst still looking stylish. I tend to wear tan accessories in autumn, like boots and bags, so they compliment each other well.

2.Grey Marl Kangaroo Pocket Cardigan – £26

Long cardigans are my jam! They are great to just wrap up in, when it isn’t quite cold enough for a coat. This would be perfect with jeans and converse for school run mornings.

3.Black Cali Sunglasses – £21

It might be cooler in temperature around September and October time, but it doesn’t mean that the sun still doesn’t shine. I love the shape of these ones. I have always been afraid of round frames until recently, and now I am pretty obsessed.

4.Flamingo Socks – £4.50

Well, because, flamingos.

5.Sole Diva Studded Boots – £29 (in the sale)

My heeled ankle boots gave up the ghost last winter. So I lived in my flat chelsea boots instead. I do still like a heeled ankle boot, though. The style of these ones is really cute and different. Pretty much a bargain too, right?

6.Pieces Pink Check Scarf – £7 (in the sale)

I like to wear a scarf or pashmina with my tops, when it is cool but doesn’t warrant a coat. I love the colours of this one. Feels quite wintery too.

7.Plum Asymmetric Hem Jumper – £25

I haven’t seen many asymmetric tops around, pretty much ever. I think they hide a multitude of sins, though. So this is on my list for sure.

Anything here take your fancy? Do you find the transition months a bit awkward to cater for? I’d love to hear what you think.
