When it is winter I am always so much more aware of my health. I think it is because of the cold weather and that there is more chance to catch a cold or a sore throat, that I am always on the lookout for things that are going to give me a boost and boost my immunity. I am generally someone that is lacking in energy too, even though I’m always on my feet, so making sure I am getting the right things in my diet is really important.
Being busy, and being someone that eats a predominantly plant-based diet, does mean that I do have to plan out what I eat and really think about it. But even then, I know there are certain things that I might not be getting enough, to give me the optimum vitamins and nutrients that I need. Which is where Sundose comes in. They are a supplement brand that tailors the supplements to your needs, rather than you just having a whole range to take. Many supplements out there just have one formula that is used by everyone, but really, that isn’t going to work as we are all different and all have different needs. In fact, there has been research that shows that 91% of supplement takers choose their supplements themselves, so as a result, might not be what your body actually needs. So I really like that Sundose is tailored to what you need specifically.

When you start your order, you are taken through a pretty comprehensive quiz about you, your lifestyle, your diet, and your needs. So if you are vegan or have allergies, for example, you can make sure that the supplement blend that you choose suits your life and what you want.
I have been looking for something to help with my energy levels, as well as boost immunity. Being veggie I also need to make sure I am getting enough plant-based omega 3s, which I know I don’t get enough of through the things that I eat. Although some answers that you give might be general as your diet can vary, it is going to be more specific than you just buying any supplements off the shelf.
As well as being able to tailor the vitamin and nutrient blends that you get with the supplement, you can choose the flavour (as you get one sachet of powder to mix into water and drink). Some of the flavourings contain a sweetener, so I opted for no flavour, but it is fine to mix with water and drink. I have found the easiest thing is that the box that gets delivered has a sachet for each day, with one part being the powder and the others being tablets. It makes it really simple and convenient, and would make it easy to stick to when you were off on your travels or to throw in your bag to take to work.

The quality of the supplements is good too. Having looked into it, they have some standardised ingredients and manufacturing processes which help to guarantee that each sachet of the Sundose supplements are high quality. They are also supplements that don’t have preservatives, meaning that they need to be stored in the fridge and do have a shorter shelf life than most. I find this quite reassuring to be honest, as it shows more of a freshness to the supplements, rather than something that can sit in a cupboard for about a year.
I have been trying Sundose for a week or so now, to see how it goes, but you can get a monthly subscription if you wanted to. You can edit it and adjust month by month, just in case your needs change and you want to switch things up (like more immunity focused in winter, compared to skin or vitality focused in summer, for example).
If you’d like to give them a try, as I do think they are superior to others out there, then use the code ‘aaublog’ to get £20 off your first order.
Have you heard of Sundose before? It would be great to hear what you think.
