With the festive season approaching fast (hello advent calendars very shortly), comes another gift guide. For any fellow bloggers, or lovers of tech in your life, then it can be trick to know what to get them, as there are so many things out there in the market. But hopefully, the decisions as to what tech to get will be made a little easier here.
One thing that I have been trying out and using with my children is this Virtual Reality travel headset from Bitmore.
^Bitmore® VR Eye Mini™ VR Travel Headset – £24.99
There are quite a few VR headsets out there at the moment, so how do you know which one to buy? First of all, I am so impressed by the price point on this one from Bitmore. Yes, it is classed as a travel version, but for me, it has everything you need, and is pretty much half the price of others out there. So for starters, that is a good things for me, and a good thing if you’re looking for a gift to buy for someone.
The size of it is good, though, as it doesn’t require a lot of space. It folds down easily to be quite compact, and does have a carry case for it. So you can pop it in your hand luggage quite easily, as well as store in the car for road trips with the kids. I haven’t found the headset heavy or cumbersome to wear, and is actually designed quite comfortably, with silicone padding around the edges. You can adjust the headphones to fit your head too, so it works for all of the family.
You use your smartphone in the VR headset (it has worked with my iPhone and my husband’s Android), and the whole thing is compatible with lots and lots of apps that you can get for your headset. There are many free ones, as well as some you buy that are pretty inexpensive. So you can choose the apps to suit you and your family. From watching a movie in 3D as you travel, to playing games or ‘going’ on rollercoasters, the choice is pretty large. Again, a really good selling point for me.
Overall, I think it makes a really affordable gift, that will look like it has cost a lot more. A unique gift for tech lovers and older children, I think it will be a good choice under the tree this year. A great bit of tech to have in the house (or car)!

This wish list is perfect for someone like me.
I really really REALLY want the photo printer. Ive told my other half I love it, I just wonder if he’ll remember to get me one.
Fingers crossed.
I actually going to share this post with him 😀
I’ve wanted a gorilla pod for ages. I’d add new iPhone to my tech list but I think that’s asking a bit much lol x
I have been meaning to purchase VR goggles for some time now because I love gaming and some of the youtuber game channels make it look so fun. It is on my wishlist but unfortunately bills are taking up the priority list and now Christmas two weeks away there’s no way I can afford to spend lavishly on myself lol. But never fear I will get those goggles one way or another.

I agree it is refreshing. I often go offline also when I have a tournament for ultimate frisbee on a weekend.
