Eguisheim, Haut Rhin
Hills covered with vines surround this picturesque village of Alsace. Its narrow streets, which spread in concentric circles, are full of colourful houses while blooming climbing plants surround the medieval castle in the centre of the village. The pointed roofs of the houses and the beautiful historical fountains enhance the fairytale atmosphere.
Beynac et Cazenac, Dordogne
Built on the cliffs along the Dordogne River, Beynac et Cazenac is a cluster of stone houses and picturesque alleys waiting to be discovered. The 12th-century Chateau de Beynac, at the top of the village, is one of the most well-preserved medieval castles in France and offers incredible views of the surrounding valley.
Kerhinet, Loire Atlantique
This small village in the Loire Valley consists of 18 cottages with thatched roofs. In fact, after being remodelled from the local natural park of Briere, it has evolved into an open-air museum, where you can admire the architecture of the area, learn about the rich flora and fauna of the park and buy local handmade products such as cider, honey, pate and jewellery.

Between two rocky slopes in the heart of Verdon’s local nature park, you will find the Moustiers Sainte-Marie.
