- Anti-ageing
Sun damage, too much sun exposure, stress and lack of rest are only a few of the causes of premature ageing. Although some of these causes we can hardly avoid, the effect is a different matter. Premature aging signs are easily detected – wrinkles, lines and age spots are some of the signs. Pomegranates can prevent premature aging because it protects the skin from damage due to stress, pollution and sun exposure.
- Cell Regeneration
Pomegranates can aid in faster healing of wounds and prevents it from scarring the skin. This is because pomegranates help in protecting the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) and works well with cell regeneration in the inner layer (dermis). This can increase the cell circulation and aid to a faster healing.
- Sun Protection
Because of its skin-protecting capabilities, pomegranates can also protect the skin from sun damage. This special fruit contains compounds that protect the skin from damage, sunburns and other damaging effects of the sun. It can also prevent skin cancer due to too much UV exposure.
- Healing Cuts
The ability of pomegranates to aid in cell regeneration also makes it effective in healing cuts and wounds. Cuts can leave scars if the skin cells are not as healthy to redevelop the tissues. Pomegranate is packed with antioxidants that aids in a healthy cell-repair and rebuilding of tissues. This can make healing of cuts faster and bring back the flawless skin.
- Natural Moisturizer
Because of the natural antioxidants that pomegranates can offer, it can keep your skin moisturized. Pomegranates are effective to use on dry skin. It is packed with punicic acid which is an omega 5 fatty acid. This fatty acid prevents dryness and loss of skin moisture, and it enhances the hydration of the skin.
The small molecular structure of this special fruit allows it to enter deep into the skin and keep the roots moisturized, leaving a naturally healthy and moisturized skin. Moisturizing skin care products commonly use pomegranates as part of the content because of this special ability.
- Anti-inflammatory
Pomegranates contain punicalagins – a natural anti-inflammatory compound that is effective for both internal and external inflammations. This compound is strong enough to prevent internal inflammations that can lead to fatal diseases. For the skin, it can help prevent acne and pimples which can be prone to infection and inflammation.
- Prevents Oily Skin
The natural hydration capabilities of pomegranates keep the skin moisturized and prevent oily skin. This can combat acne breakouts, pimples and skin irritations that are brought about by oily skin. A well-hydrated skin can also easily avoid skin irritations and scarring which can lead to a healthier and younger looking skin.
Skin care is an important aspect of health. Most people go through many ways to keep their skin health in top shape. Your skin is obviously the most visible part of you. Together with healthy pomegranates, you can maintain your skin through Botox treatment in Melbourne. Keep your overall appearance vibrant and healthy with pomegranates.
