As well as rides and other adventures, you can take part in mini-golf, go to the arcade, or indulge your sweet tooth at the candy store. But if you are visiting the area, then one beach to go to, that tends to be a little less crowded than normal, is Atlantic Beach. Not only will you get to enjoy white sands, but you’ll also be close by to some shops and some great places to eat too. There are also a great range of hiking trails and biking routes at the north point of the beach, making it a great choice for those that love to explore the outdoors.
Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
Recently rated as one of the Top Zoos in the USA, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is another great choice, with some great atttractions and exhibits. The tiger exhibit is one of the most famous, with five tigers in the closure. The exhibit is unlike any other, as it allows the tigers to roam through a trail system that weaves around the park and over the top of guests heads. Giraffes, stingrays, and jaguars can all be seen at the zoo and gardens too. It is worth checking up what things they are doing on the dates that you visit, as there are some seasonal attractions and events.
