If you’re planning your holidays for the new year, why not add the US to your agenda? America is so diverse from it’s people to their varied cultures and incredible food. It really does offer everything and more from the beach to the mountains, sun to snow. Whether you want to laze around on a sandy beach in California or you’re seeking the hustle and bustle of New York living, you’ll be enraptured in all your American dreams.
Maybe you want to experience America’s natural beauty. With all the different types of landscapes across the country, there really isn’t a bad view in the U.S. Whether you’re driving past rolling hills, desert cactus’, sunset skies, vibrant greenery or clear blue waters – there will always be a postcard-worthy view that you’ll want to capture as the backdrop for your next selfie. What could be more inspiring than The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park or Niagara falls? It’s hard not to stand in awe and just marvel at Mother Nature in America.
If you’re a lover of nature, check out The Everglades, Florida. This important eco-system shelters exotic wildlife including alligators, dolphins and sea turtles. Most visitors paddle a canoe, (if they dare!) hike or take a boat tour. Whilst in Florida, be sure to visit Disney! Whether you’re holidaying with kids or not, everyone has to experience the magic of Disney at least once in their lifetime! Not to mention the beaches in Florida are to die for! So grab your swimwear and beachwear and off you go!
Ski season is well and truly upon us and one of our favourite ski resorts is in Colorado, typically open from November until mid-April. Fill your lungs with clear air and be prepared, adventure is out there. Colorado is overflowing with things to do. If you opt for a winter vacay, number one on the bucket list is Colorado’s renowned world-class skiing and snowboarding adventure. Whether you’re a pro skier or a total amateur, kit yourself out in preparation to ski in style and enjoy the euphoric ride. Relax those toes, flex your ankles, keep your skis parallel and your hands forward. Enjoy the sublime surroundings as you glide down endless pillows of white powder. At the end of the day, kick off your gear and cosy up by the fire, it’s time to relax in front of the TV, sip some wine and stay toasty after a long day on the slopes.
Other popular activities to release those endorphins are mountain biking, hiking, hot-air ballooning and rock climbing – just to name a few. Immerse yourself in water sports such as paddle boating, kayaking, canoeing or whitewater rafting for those with no fear. There is something for everybody to get excited about – even the adrenaline junkies won’t be disappointed. On the flip-side, Colorado also facilitates for those who seek a pampering at luxury spa and gym facilities; you’ll be feeling more relaxed than ever. Also worth checking out is the great mountain music, sensational local breweries, gourmet cuisine, fabulous nightlife and outstanding art and culture.
This kind of holiday could be the physical and emotional rejuvenation you need before you head back to the office. Just to warn you, after visiting the US, you may find it difficult to return.
