Updating the Hallway with Parrot Print

We have been in our home for nearly nine years now, which is a pretty long time if you think about it. And as we had to renovate the whole house when we moved in (it hadn’t been changes since the 50s), it is kind of getting to the point where we are starting look at updating our renovations and making some more changes and brings things a little more up to date.

One thing that I am pretty bad at is getting pictures framed or printed to have displayed on our walls. During our original renovations I got quite a few photos framed and sorted, but they haven’t really been updated since. There are a few photos where I was pregnant with Max, but there are very few of the children that are printed out and on display. So I was really keen to get some pictures of them up on the wall. I have quite a few left to get, but I have started things off with a canvas print from Parrot Print. I wanted to get something up on the wall that was full of colour and from our travels, and I have always liked this photo of the children from our trip last year to Bali.

I was so impressed by the quality of the canvas, and the colours have come out just as they are in the photo. So from that point of view, I am really impressed with Parrot Print and the quality of the prints that they create from the photos that are uploaded (though I’m sure the photo needs to be a fairly high-quality one to work as well).

The prices of the prints are really reasonable too, as they start from £14.99, depending on the size and the shape (you can choose square or rectangular). So if you wanted to get a few of them to make a photo wall or a cute display, then it really won’t break the bank. In terms of value for money, I have been impressed with the quality of it, so I think you do get value for money.

The canvas comes framed for you, and there is a hanging hook ready to use on it. As I was replacing an old photo, I could replace it and hang it up right away. I quite liked that the canvas wasn’t super thick, so it doesn’t sit really far off the wall, if that makes sense. This is a positive for me because I don’t want to have to worry about knocking off the wall when walking past it.

I am pleased with print and would definitely order from Parrot Print again. I love the pop of colour that the print brings in our hallway; it definitely reminds me of sunnier and warmer times and brings back such happy memories from our travels. Which room should I update next with a new print?

Have you heard of Parrot Print before? What do you think to the canvas? It would be great to hear what you think.

*the canvas was gifted in exchange for an honest review. All words and opinions are my own and I would only recommend something that I would buy myself.
