Global Hatching Day | Zuru Rainbocorns Series 2 Hatching

I don’t know how or why the unicorn trend started, but it is here to stay, and I’m pretty much here for it. And my daughter is a massive fan of all things sparkly, fluffy, rainbow, and unicorns, so we are both here for all things of that nature. There are quite a few things out there on the market that are sequins and sparkles, so when the chance came up to be able to review the new Rainbocorns from Zuru, I knew I had the perfect reviewer to help me give her opinion, and see what makes the Rainbocorns surprise eggs different.

The new Rainbocorns are series two, and there is everything from llamas to unicorns, and all different animals in-between (we got an owlocorn). They are the ultimate in surprise egg. And we have had plenty of toys that ‘hatch’ from eggs in our house. These are the biggest eggs we have ever seen, and the sequins on them and extras inside are brilliant. There are ten layers to get through in fact, so there are plenty of surprises to get through, building up the excitement; my daughter loved it!

Inside, the egg comes with a cute, baby Boo-Boocorn hiding inside another egg, which was super exciting. And it was even better when we found out that we had twin Boo-Boocorns hiding in an extra egg inside the big egg. There are also a sheet of sparkly stickers and gooey Rainbocorn Poop, which was pretty much the best thing ever. The surprises kept on coming, she loved the bracelet / hairband, and that was so exciting for Chloe (especially the little Boo-Boocorns and the fact she got twins. They are quite like other small hatching eggs, so that was super exciting – little eggs and little toys are one of her favourite things).

If you’re looking for an amazing gift for your little one or a friend, then it would be such an exciting gift. The large Rainbocorns are £24.99 and I think that is a pretty reasonable price for what you get. There are several things in the egg that makes the price worth it, and the size of the main Rainbocorn is really good; it isn’t a piddly-little toy. The quality is really good too, so as a result, I would definitely buy another for a gift in the future.

The smaller Rainbocorns are super cute too, and they come with the Boo-Boocorns egg inside, as well as the Rainbow Poop, so they are a really good value for money, in my opinion. The whole ‘unhatching’ of the eggs was really exciting and Chloe really enjoyed it. The magic behind them is so exciting and the surprise element is fun too as you don’t know which you will get. I can see many happy children enjoying these Rainbocorns, as they are just really fun, as well as being really cute. If you are looking for a fun and cute toy, then this one is for you.

The Rainbocorns are available to buy at Argos and Smyths nationwide. It would be great to hear what you think of these. Would your little ones enjoy them?

*the items were gifted in exchange for this post – all words and opinions are my own, and I would not recommend anything that I would not use myself.
